You will work as a MindCapture consultant for an international market leader in the healthcare industry.
Job Description:
- Support the setup and operational readiness of a new automated laboratory line
- Work with IT, laboratory, quality and external vendor teams to establish the automated workflow
- Support integrations between laboratory instruments, middleware and the LIMS environment
- Configure and test bidirectional communication between middleware and LIMS
- Support the transfer of test orders to the automated laboratory platform
- Support the processing of results, data flags, traceability information and sample location data
- Configure rules for automated validation holds, repeat testing, manual dilutions and reflex testing
- Troubleshoot interface, connectivity and workflow issues
- Support validation and documentation activities according to applicable quality standards
- Contribute to a smooth and timely go live
- Support additional laboratory instrument integrations during a later project phase
- Work in Brussels with a flexible full time or part time workload based on project needs
- Start as soon as possible and support the initial operational readiness phase, with potential extension into a longer term assignment
Requirements:
- Experience with laboratory automation, instrument integration, LIMS, middleware or clinical laboratory IT systems
- Understanding of how laboratory instruments, middleware and LIMS systems interact
- Experience with interface configuration, testing, troubleshooting or validation
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated laboratory or healthcare environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills across IT, laboratory, quality and vendor teams
- Hands on, analytical and pragmatic working style
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility regarding workload and project planning
