Role Description
This is an internship role for a Communications Intern located on-site in Brussels. The Communications Intern will assist in managing and supporting communication strategies. Tasks will also include preparing press releases, contributing to newsletters, assisting with event planning and coordination, and joining meetings inside the European Parliament. The intern will support IFRD's team in various administrative and creative tasks to enhance the organization's visibility and outreach.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience or coursework in Communications, Journalism, or related fields
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Basic knowledge of human rights and sustainable development issues
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Relevant internship or volunteer experience is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous
