Safety is ArcelorMittal priority one. We are dedicated to fostering a culture of safety and recently decided to improve Process Safety Management (PSM) across the Group, covering both steel and mining. The objective is to implement best in class PSM practices to prevent industrial catastrophes (fires, explosions, etc), severe asset integrity failures or large process disruptions. An ambitious and complete roadmap has been developed and is under way. To ensure global approach in the company, procedures, trainings, overall supervision and coordination including assurance level is among others managed centrally by GCTO. To support and coordinate this global roll-out in the Group, GCTO is looking for a dynamic person to take part of this central PSM team.
So, what will you do?
The Process Safety Management Specialist is responsible for developing and coordinating Process Safety Management (PSM) activities.
As part of ArcelorMittal PSM implementation roadmap, he / she will also have to supervise and coordinate work with third parties that will support on the generation of key deliverables such as internal PSM standards, training, organisation design, and definition of minimum mandatory controls to be implemented in all ArcelorMittal.
This role aims at equipping AM with best in class PSM system and ensuring that all segments and site adopt, understand and comply with PSM standards to ensure PSM effectiveness.
This role involves the identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks associated with processes, ensuring the protection of people, the environment, and assets.
The Process Safety Management Specialist will collaborate closely with various departments including operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and external partners. He / She will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our safety performance.
